Did You Know?If you’re interested in history, you’ll have to pay a visit to the Arizona Museum of Natural History. Located in Mesa’s downtown district, the museum is billed as the “premier natural history museum in Arizona,” and offers guests the chance to experience Arizona’s ancient past, from the dinosaur periods through the first inhabitants of the Southwest. Cliff Garrett Memorial Rodeo has been going on for 51 years and counting. Spectators are welcome and encouraged to come watch the wild rodeo fun, but have to be employees of Arizona divisions of AiResearch/Garrett/AlliedSignal/Honeywell companies. The rodeo runs in late October and admission is $8 for adults and $5 for children, age six to twelve. The proceeds benefit Arizona charities. |
